Health & Safety
Our commitment to safety is total. Our safety record speaks for itself, and we monitor and report on safety performance for every project as a key agenda item at each management and Board meeting. We regularly assess the competencies of our team and strive for the continuous improvement of our people by way of training (arca, NDTG) and certification (CSCS and CPCS for example) alongside on the job development.
Safety is the key driver for all our project work, and strategic risk assessment is built into our project planning to ensure viability from a health and safety perspective.
On site we insist on regular safety briefings, to ensure implementation of good working practices, and to be certain that any changes to method statements, for example, are understood and safely actioned.
In addition the Lexia Solutions corporate Health and Safety audit team ensure that every active project site is audited and any audit recommendations are immediately actioned. The Audit teams are a critical part of our safety management systems, and have the ultimate sanction of suspending site operations until such time as any outstanding safety concerns are addressed.
